In late 2015 four friends got together and bought a small still, curious to see if we could develop distinctly New Zealand spirits.
Gin was the first target. We set out to develop a Gin that was truly individual and would stand out from the crowd and the tonic. After many trials and a few late nights mixing botanicals and of course tasting gins, recipe 23 was settled on and in late 2016 launched as Curiosity Gin.
Curiosity Gin is made 100% in-house, in small batches, starting from locally sourced malted grain and the best quality botanicals available including East Coast Manuka berries and leaves, fresh Gisborne Orange and Lime zest and Otago Lavender for a true New Zealand twist.
