With their backgrounds in engineering and beverage production, Stew and Chris set up Reid+Reid to challenge the perception of a “classic” gin and promote New Zealand’s unique natural flora. The result: Reid+Reid, New Zealand native gin.
Reid+Reid gin is uniquely Kiwi, in that it is produced with three native New Zealand botanicals: kawakawa, manuka and horopito. Along with classic gin botanicals: juniper, coriander seeds, fresh orange zest, orris root, angelica root, liquorice root, cassia, nutmeg, fennel and cardamom .
The gin is distillled in our 200 litre, custom-made copper pot still in our small, Martinborough distillery by Reid Bro number 1 – Chris Reid.
